New Leather Tools
We are selling new tools from a few makers. Wayne Jueschke is well known for his stamping tools, mauls, rivet setters, and string cutters. As my wife sold a customer at a leather show, "We don't carry all of Wayne's stamps, but we have most of them!".
We are also selling tools from CS Osborne. Please note that these tools come from CS Osborne and then I go to work on them. The cutting tools, punches, and awl blades are sharpened to a final edge and polished. The hammers have the factory grind marks polished out and the square edges are rounded to avoid marking your leather. Pliers edges are lightly rounded to avoid marking. These tools are ready to go to work. As with our used and vintage tools, these new tools carry the same resharpening deal - "Buy from me, they resharpen for free". If you are not comfortable with sharpening I will resharpen them as needed for just the cost of return shipping.
The latest addition to the new tools are leather hand tools made by Toby Yoder at Ron's Tools. These are some of the finest hand tools made and Toby carries on the same quality and craftsmanship as Ron Edmond's originally did.
We now have lace cutting and beveling tools from Barb Sorenson at Y-Knot Lace. These are some nice bench tools for evenly cutting lace and beveling for your laved and braided projects.
William Klutts is a leather stamp and carving tool maker from Sheridan WY. He learned from some of the best and has been making tools for several years. He has recently retired and able to make tools on a bit more scale now.
We also have new tools from Richard Brooks - really nice stamping tools and rivet setters. Please note that Richard is no longer making leather tools in order to concentrate on his core business of bit and spur making. When these tools are sold out, that will be it.
