LaceMaster and Vaquero Lace Cutters
We are happy to now be stocking LaceMaster and Vaquero products from our friend Steve Derricott. These lace cutters and bevelers has proven themselves time and again on the benches of some of the best rawhide in leather braiders. We currently stock the LaceMaster in two options and the Vaquero lace cutter with the optional base clamp.
LaceMaster
We are carrying the LaceMaster "starter package" with the braider shaft that will cut, bevel at two angles, and split lace. We also have the "double deal package " LaceMaster with the braider shaft and the Hansen shaft at a special price versus buying the shafts separately. The Hansen shaft will cut and bevel lace at a 45° angle. Many breeders prefer the Hansen shaft for rawhide. The Hansen shaft is also available separately. The LaceMaster clamps onto the edge of a bench so it can be stored away when not in use. Either package come complete with 100 blades, and a clip to add a slat to support a larger piece when cutting lace.

Vaquero Lace Cutter
This lace cutter and beveler fills the need for a smaller footprint lace cutter. It comes with the Hansen shaft and will cut and bevel lace to a 45° angle. Many braiders prefer this shaft for rawhide, however I know several people that have used it for chrome tan leathers as well. It mounts to the bench with the provided wood screws. The package includes 100 blades in a clip to mount a small piece of wood to hold larger pieces of leather when cutting lace. There is also an optional bench clamp available that will hold it on the edge of a bench.
